Built-in agents
Some agents are built in to Agent City. They can’t be renamed or removed, and every other agent can ask them for help. Three of them matter for almost everything you do:
| Agent | What it does | Starts |
|---|---|---|
| System | Works with files in your workspace folder, makes PDF, Word and Excel documents and QR codes, and reads the web. | On (files read-only, web off) |
| Computer | Uses the apps on your Mac for you: reads windows, clicks, fills in and types, asking you first. | Off |
| Meetings | Records and transcribes your calls on your Mac, writes the notes, and answers questions about past meetings. | Off |
Together they let the rest of your team work with the things on your Mac. A weather agent can ask System to save a forecast as a PDF. My team can ask Meetings what was decided yesterday and then ask Computer to put it in a note.
The coordinator
Section titled “The coordinator”My team is run by the coordinator. It isn’t an agent you pick; it’s the one that picks the others. It has no tools of its own. It decides who to ask, asks them, and writes the reply. You can set its model and thinking under Advanced settings on the Agents page.
Other agents that come with Agent City
Section titled “Other agents that come with Agent City”The starter team (Tock, Nimbus, Penny and Scout) and the Telegram, Signal and X agents also come with Agent City. Each card on the Agents page describes what it does and what it needs.
