Approvals
Reading things just happens. Acting as you (posting, sending a message, clicking in an app, deleting) asks first.
Approve or Skip
Section titled “Approve or Skip”When an agent wants to act, an Approve / Skip card appears:
- in the chat that asked, or
- in Activity, for an automation.
The action only happens once you press Approve. If you press Skip, or nobody answers within ten minutes, it isn’t done and the agent is told so. In an automation, an Ask me first step waits up to 24 hours.
While an approval waits, your other chats, phones and automations carry on.
What asks
Section titled “What asks”| Agent | Asks before |
|---|---|
| Computer | Each click, field filled in or key pressed. Sending a message always asks, unless you turn that off separately. |
| Signal, Telegram | Sending a message. |
| X | Posting. |
| Installed agents | Anything their author marked as acting on your behalf. |
Turning asking off
Section titled “Turning asking off”Agents that ask have a switch in their settings (the cog on their card), such as Ask before each click or keystroke. Turning it off lets the agent act on its own.
Asking can only be turned off on your Mac, not from a paired phone. Phones can approve and skip.
