Memory
Agent City remembers lasting facts about you, so you don’t have to repeat yourself.
Shared memory
Section titled “Shared memory”Facts in Shared memory are seen by every agent. Open it from the Utilities menu (the spanner at the bottom of the sidebar).

Here you can:
- search your facts,
- Edit a value that’s wrong,
- Forget one you don’t want kept, and
- Add a fact yourself.
How facts get saved
Section titled “How facts get saved”Whoever you’re talking to (My team, or an agent in a direct chat) can save a fact when you tell it something lasting: your name, where you live, your timezone, units, family, likes and dislikes. Each save shows in the chat as Memory updated.
Only lasting facts are saved. Asking about the weather in Paris doesn’t change where you live. Saying “I’ve moved to Tokyo” replaces your old location.
Automations, and agents answering other agents, can read memory but can’t change it.
An agent’s own memory
Section titled “An agent’s own memory”Each agent also has Its memory, in its settings (the cog on its card). These are facts only that agent sees, usually how you like its answers. When you chat with an agent directly, it saves those preferences there, and facts about you to Shared memory as usual.
Lessons from Reflection time are saved to an agent’s own memory too.
Context
Section titled “Context”Context, also in an agent’s settings, is instructions you write for that agent, such as “Keep answers short.” It follows them whoever asks it, including My team and automations.
Removing an agent deletes its own memory and context.
